Leading the recovery is the hospitality sector (i.e., properties used for hotels, resorts, and accommodation facilities), which alone attracted around €660 million in investments. Top tourist destinations – like Rome, Capri, and Milan – have become real magnets for capital, especially in the luxury segment (i.e., high-end tourism with premium properties and services).
In Q1 2025, three of the four largest hotel deals of the past year were completed. This speaks volumes: tourism in Italy is not just back — it is evolving toward an increasingly structured and exclusive offer.
